Penny

The Penny Has Been Retired

The U.S. Mint ended penny production in 2025. While we can no longer order pennies to distribute, your pennies still count.

What does this mean for our members?

When our supply of pennies runs out, we will begin rounding cashed checks down to the nearest $0.05.

For iTHINK Financial Members: The remainder will be deposited into the member's account.

For Non-Members: The remainder will be deducted from the check-cashing fee.

Bring us your pennies! Pennies can still be deposited into accounts as long as they remain in circulation.

Penny Max

Thank you for your understanding while the nation works to navigate this change.
