iTHINK Community Foundation Scholarship Application 

Please fill in all information below; incomplete applications will not be considered.

You must be an active iTHINK Financial member in good standing and a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in a college or trade school to apply for this scholarship.

The following must be returned with this application. All information must be received together in a
single package.

  • Two (2) current (dated within the last 60 days) letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or school administrators on school letterhead (college or high school) acknowledging the student’s achievements.
  • A current transcript of your college or high school grades. Photocopies are acceptable. A copy of
    your most recent report card may be substituted.
  • Creative entry: Please write either a 250-word essay OR create a 2-1/2 minute video that details your plans for use of the scholarship and discuss your career goals.

*If you are awarded a scholarship from the iTHINK Community Foundation your signature above authorizes the iTHINK Community Foundation and iTHINK Financial to utilize your name, county of residence, high school and college/institution to be attended, and your field of study for purposes of press releases and/or articles of publication on the iTHINK Financial website and other publications deemed appropriate.

Prior iTHINK Community Foundation scholarship recipients, employees and directors of iTHINK Financial and their family members, are not eligible to apply for or receive funds from the iTHINK Community Foundation scholarship program.

WHEN TO APPLY
March 1, 2024, starting at 12:00 AM ET, has been extended until April 5, 2024, at 5:00 PM ET. 

NOTIFICATION DATE
Winners will be notified by an iTHINK Financial representative by June 2024. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone. If a selected winner fails to contact sponsor to claim the prize within fourteen (14) calendar days of the sending or posting of notification, an alternative winner may be selected from among the remaining eligible entries.

AMOUNT AWARDED
The iTHINK Community Foundation will award a total of 4 scholarships (2 at $2,500 in Florida and 2 at $2,500 for Georgia and beyond).

RULES

By participating, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these rules and accept the decision of the iTHINK Community Foundation as final. The iTHINK Community Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant and/or winner based on such and all additional expenses, injuries, and other fees that may be incurred by participants during promotion will be at participant’s own discretion and own expense. Void where prohibited by law. All disputes must be resolved by binding arbitration.

  • All applicants must be or become a member of iTHINK Financial at time of submission.
  • One entry per person.
  • Applicant must complete and submit the iTHINK Community Foundation scholarship application along with an essay or video submission.
  • Applicant must be enrolled and attending an accredited college or technical school in the United States in the Fall of 2024 in order to receive scholarship.
  • Scholarships can be used towards tuition, books, and dormitory lodging or meal costs and will be made payable to the college or technical school by the iTHINK Community Foundation and mailed directly to the school on the winner’s behalf before the Fall 2024 semester begins.
  • The iTHINK Community Foundation reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify (or terminate the prize of) any individual who is found to be, or suspected of, acting in violation of these official rules.
  • iTHINK Financial reserves the right to not accept, cancel, terminate any program, performance or other activity hereunder at any time and for any reason; and you agree to the iTHINK Financial’s absolute right to do so.
  • Officers, directors, volunteers, employees, agents, successors and assignments of iTHINK Financial and their
    immediate family members (defined as spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother,
    sister, children and grandchildren) are not eligible to win.
  • Any attempt by a person to damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the iTHINK Community Foundation reserves the right to seek all legal and equitable remedies from and against any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • The undersigned also expressly acknowledges and agrees to the use of his/her name and/or likeness in any news release, advertisement or other communications without further compensation or consideration, the opportunity to perform or provide other services hereunder being deemed sufficient consideration for all terms and conditions set forth herein or incorporated herein by reference.
  • The iTHINK Community Foundation will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of FL.
  • Scholarship Winning Stipulations: Scholarship winnings are non-transferable, with no cash redemptions, equivalents, or substitutions except at the iTHINK Community Foundation’s sole and absolute discretion. All scholarship details not specified in these official rules will be determined in the iTHINK Community Foundation’s sole and absolute discretion. In the event a scholarship winner engages in behavior that (as determined by the iTHINK Community Foundation or any prize provider in its or their sole and absolute discretion) is obnoxious, inappropriate, threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, the iTHINK Community Foundation reserves the right to terminate or withdraw the scholarship winnings. All scholarship winnings are awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). The scholarship winners will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prize(s) they receive, regardless of whether it, in whole or in part, are used.
