Local Credit Union Gives Clayton State University Students Opportunity to Apply and Win Scholarship

DELRAY BEACH, FL. (5/5/22) – iTHINK Financial’s iTHINK Community Foundation strongly believes in investing in the success of young minds. In celebration of African American History month, the Dream Makers partnership will allow the iTHINK Community Foundation to award $1,000 scholarships to Clayton State University students in Clayton County, Georgia to further their education.

Last year, 78% of Clayton State University students demonstrated need with 6,000 students receiving some sort of aid (scholarships, grants, loans, etc.). However, 69% of these students still have unmet need. On top of this number are the dollars that students take out in student loans or earn by having more than one job in order to make their dream of becoming a college graduate a reality.  Students interested in the scholarship can contact Clayton State University for more information.

The mission of the iTHINK Community Foundation is to improve the lives of children and families in the communities we serve. Dream Makers is a multi-faceted approach to helping those students who are either high achievers, are close to completing their degree, or both.
