SMS Terms of Service

iTHINK Financial Credit Union (“iTHINK Financial” or “Credit Union”) utilizes multiple SMS and text message services in order to service our members efficiently, provide requested account and transaction information and for important communications.

By providing your cell phone number and opting in to receive text messages from one of the Credit Union’s SMS or text services, you agree that the Credit Union may send messages to your device using automatically dialed calls and text messages, to deliver information, marketing messages, and for other lawful purposes. You understand that this consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any products, goods or services, and that you may revoke this consent at any time. You agree to promptly notify us if you change phone numbers, allow others to use your mobile device, or if your device is lost or stolen.  The SMS service should not be relied upon as the sole provider of information about your account; you still must review your periodic statements and monitor your transactions.  We are not responsible for interruptions in service for any reason.  Some of the text messages we send may include links to websites. To access these websites, you will need a web browser and Internet access.  The terms and conditions of your Membership and Account Agreement apply to the SMS and text communication services outlined herein.

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency depends on your interaction. Online Banking \ Mobile Banking App text eAlerts will be sent from emessenger@ithinkfi.org

To control your eAlerts for texts:

Log in to Online Banking or our Mobile Banking App, click on eAlerts/eStatements from the slider menu option.

Review and agree to the eMessenger User Agreement.

Enter ‘Mobile Device’ information and click continue. You will then be registered for eAlerts or eStatements which at your choice can include text messages eAlerts.

To cancel, set up or change these alerts, you can go under the alerts tab and click on manage alerts.

You will begin receiving notifications for your selected eAlerts immediately.

 

Marketing SMS Messages will be sent from 98667

The Credit Union will not send you SMS marketing materials unless you opt-in to this service. 

When you opt-in to the marketing SMS service, the Credit Union will send you an SMS message to confirm your signup from the short code 98667.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to 98667. After you send the SMS message "STOP", the Credit Union will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed from future marketing SMS messages. Afterwards, you will no longer receive SMS messages for marketing from the Credit Union unless you opt back in.

If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text "HELP" to 98667. After you send the SMS message "HELP", the Credit Union will respond with instructions on how to use the service as well as how to unsubscribe.

Credit Union Communications will be sent from 42628

The Credit Union may send important information about your shares and loans to you using SMS communication from the short code 42628.

You may also receive one time passwords to assist in verification and to ensure security of your membership when communicating with the Credit Union. 

You may opt out of receiving future communication messages by texting “STOP” to 42628.  Opting out of communications will also opt you out from future marketing SMS messages as well as the communication messages.

You may opt back in for future communication messages by texting “START” to 42628.

The Credit Union may modify these SMS Terms of Service or terminate these services at any time at its sole discretion subject to any prior notification required by applicable law.
